Multiples

time for a challenge!

after talking to a friend last week, i decided it's time for another photography challenge.  as we were visiting, she reminded me of an idea doug had and put a little twist on it! every week, doug will post a challenge here on my blog,  and i will have the week to post at least one image to fulfill his challenge. i think it should be fun . . . it's always fun to have a challenge:)

Scripture's with O'ma & O'pa

This is a special year for Carter because he will be baptized this fall. Doug's parents are leaving to serve a Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Zealand this March and they wanted to take Carter on the traditional scripture outing. When the grandkids turn eight, O'ma and O'pa take them to pick out their first set of scriptures. They wanted to make sure Carter had is scriptures before they leave. We love you O'ma and O'pa. Thank you for your wonderful example.

Build a Bear with Grammy

My Mom has a fun tradition with her grandchildren . . . on their 5th birthday she takes them to Build a Bear Workshop. Nate's 5th birthday kind of snuck up on all of us, but it worked out nicely for him to be able to have a date with Grammy while we were in town for the New Year. Thanks Mom for being such a fun Grammy and building these sweet memories for the kids.

A Golden Birthday!

Nate turned 5 on the 5th, which makes him the Golden Birthday Boy!  His birthday dinner choice was spaghetti with french bread and dirt cake to celebrate ( a popular desert choice around here).  It was another year for pirate gear . . . he makes an adorable pirate:)

A Favorite of the Season

I love getting the mail in December. It is so fun to see how families have grown and connect in a small way with friends made over the years. My door is the last of the Christmas decor to be put away . . . maybe by March:)
